STAR GROUP is officially registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a legal entity authorized to grant visa support. The company generates invitation issue (confirmation of hotel accommodation and tourist voucher) necessary for presenting to Russian consulates for visa granting. The company provides tourist visa support FREE-OF-CHARGE. Support is granted only if the hotel has a passport office and provides visa registration.
Visa support is granted to cover the program of a tourist's stay on territories of the Russian Federation but no longer than for the duration of the stay in hotels and travel on territories of the Russian Federation confirmed by travel papers on condition of 100% prepayment for hotel accommodation and additional services including excursion programs, transport services etc. Additional services can be paid for after arriving in the Russian Federation. If hotel accommodation is not booked through STAR GROUP, visa support is not provided.
To obtain tourist visa support, the following information must be forwarded to the company:
1. An application form on the letterhead of organization indicating legal and payment essential elements, containing the information concerning hotel reserved, terms of the tourist staying in the hotel, additional services, payment guarantee and the obligations of the client to comply with the passport-visa regime of the Russian Federation.
2. Completed visa application form, one per person.
It will take not less than 24 hours to issue visa support papers from the time of 100% prepayment for hotel accommodation for the whole period of the tourist's stay in the hotel according to the program. In the event of trip cancellation, a charge of the first night's accommodation is imposed on the tourist.
Under conditions of more severe controls introduced to govern passport and visa issue and rules on foreign nationals staying in the Russian Federation, STAR GROUP has the right to refuse visa support without explanation.
